The Great Silence

The great silence whispers at my heart.
It tells me stories,
Grand stories,
Of nature’s beauty,
And God’s love.

It is a tale about life,
Life on earth,
And the eternal life,
The story of the nature of God.

Life on earth is incredibly beautiful — in its raw form.
A picturesque painting of life and life’s forms,
Working together perfectly,
To constitute natural life.

The life of God is the life eternal.
Within its context it holds all other life,
Like an arena or stadium
Holding its audience.

And that life is ruled by its nature,
Which in human terms,
We call unconditional love.
Giving yourself to another human being, without expecting anything in return.
